Description: 

Sorus of Dryopteris x triploidea based on F. B. Matos et al. 2273 from Zofnass Family Preserve, Eastern loop, Westchester County, New York. Hybrid of Dryopteris carthusiana and D. intermedia. Aborted spores; lower innermost pinnules on basal pinnae are nearly the same length as adjacent lower pinnules; glandular hairs on rachis.
