Description:
Blade of Polystichum acrostichoides based on F. B. Matos et al. 2258 from Zofnass Family Preserve, Eastern loop, Westchester County, New York. Lance-shaped pinnae with distinctive basal lobe (ear); scaly stipe; sori numerous, in 2 or more rows along midvein, crowded when ripe, indusium circular.
